This site is being created by myself, artist and web developer,
Ana Jurpik. The artists featured on this site are established
and hold impressive biographies. Each has traveled North and
was inspired by the beauty of Canada's High Arctic and Greenland.
Many are peers who wish to exhibit together and share their
personal interpretations of the Arctic (read the Toronto
Star's article about the journey to the Arctic for many
of the participating artists).
I feel that there is an extreme need to promote awareness concerning
the issues of Global Warming. Global Warming is real and not
going away on its own. I will continue to add resources and
links to help answer questions on how we can help. Our time
on Earth is an investment in our future generations.
Original Art is a Wise Investment
I also feel there is a need to promote artists who share a similar
view about our environment. Please read the Artists
Statements page and learn what each has to say. These extraordinary
individuals follow their passion to paint and create, faithfully
believing others will connect with their work.
Original art is a wise investment that can be passed on for
future generations to enjoy and will not decrease in value.
As signs of Global Warming become increasingly apparent, so
will these images that each artist experienced first hand, become
increasingly rare. |
